Isabela Sancho was born in 1989 in Campinas, Brazil. She studied visual arts and majored in architecture at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). She is the author and illustrator of the handbook Quem fala em seu nome ("Who speaks in your name"; (Editora Primata, 2019) and of the poetry collections As flores se recusam ("The flowers spurn themselves"; Editora Patuá, 2018, honorary mention for the Prêmio Literário Glória de Sant'Anna, Portugal) and A depressão tem sete andares e um elevador ("Depression has seven floors and an elevator"; Editora Penalux, 2019).
